Correspondence with the editors of Dutch Protocol takes place by email. The editors handle three types of requests:
1. Corrections to content
Factual inaccuracies are verified against the primary source and — if confirmed — amended within fourteen days, with a revision note at the bottom of the page concerned. Preferably state the URL, the paragraph number or the footnote number.
2. Requests for additional source references
Suggestions for relevant peer-reviewed publications or official reports are welcome. The editors assess proposals according to the published methodology.
3. Press and research requests
Journalists, researchers and policy makers can ask for context, background or citation assistance. The editors give no medical or legal advice and do not comment on individual treatment decisions.

The editors aim to send an acknowledgement of receipt within five working days. Substantive handling may take longer for complex questions.
